A devotee is one who, if there is any trace of envy, lust, or greed within the heart, wants to become free from these obstacles on the path of devotional service. He sees, “These are my real diseases, and I must seek out whatever medicine I can obtain to cure them. Because until I can cure that disease, I cannot help anyone else, not even myself.” This is the faith.
